
Plaster is a natural material. The plaster, which transforms semi-hydrate
with a chemical reaction while boiling by loosing a quarter of its
water, retransforms gypsum form when it is mixed with water by
taking back the water which it losses during boiling. As there is
organic substance less than 1 % in plaster, it is a material which
does not harm environmental and human health.
The plaster absorbs moisture quickly which occurs in applied area;
it is moisture balancing as it returns moisture when the weather
dries.
The plaster protects the buildings from fire as it is in A1 fire
proof class according to European Standards.
When the plaster is mixed with water in appreciate amount, it easily
accords with moulds and details and takes its form easily.
The plaster provides sound insulation by absorbing sound waves
through gaps in its own.
The plaster gives a clean image to buildings owing to its white
color.
The plaster, in comparison with other conventional construction
materials ( sand, cement, lime mortar ) is light. Because of this
reason, it provides convenience while carrying and it puts less load
to applied structures.
The plaster makes contribution to heat insulation because of its
porous structure.
The plaster provides time saving in applying by rapid drying in
comparison with other conventional plastering materials.
